Evonik in Brazil

Evonik Industries is the creative industrial group from Germany. We occupy top positions in the fast-growing markets of our Chemicals, Energy and Real Estate Business Areas.

The company has been operating in Brazil for over 55 years through its Chemicals Business Area. Our headquarters are based in São Paulo (SP) and we have three production plants: Hydrogen Peroxide (Barra do Riacho – ES), Carbon Black (Paulínia – SP), and Chemical Catalysts (Americana – SP). We have a technical center for polyurethanes and a laboratory for colorants, both in Americana, and a lab for animal nutrition in Guarulhos (SP), as well as three distribution centers located in Itajaí (SC), Cascavel (PR) and Guarulhos (SP).

The Energy Business Area is represented in the country by an office in Rio de Janeiro.

Evonik´s Chemicals and/or Energy Business Areas operate all over South America through either production plants, representatives or distributors in Argentina, Chile and Colombia, among other countries in the region. The business is basically controlled by the Brazilian unit.
